I am wondering if it's possible to build muscle (real bulk, solid muscle) with 5% total protein. My diet is mainly composed of dates, cucumbers and lettuce smoothies with some flaxseed. I have on average 5% protein eating 2400 cals a day. So, I get 35g of protein a day. I train for 6 months but my muscle gains are minimal. I am training bodyweight calisthenics 5 times a week, 1h a day. Should I increase my protein content for bodybuilding? Or do I need more calories- I weight 66kg, with about 13% bodyfat.
