Subject:	Sore Uvula

Hello, I have been following 80/10/10 for almost a year now and for the past 3 weeks now I have had some kind of a sore throat type problem. My throat feels hot, dry, and sore and when I open my mouth and look in the mirror my uvula (that small piece of flesh that hangs out in the back of the throat is sore.

To be more specific it has red lines on it. (not sure if it's veins, but it appears to be) I also have felt feverish a couple different times in the past few weeks. I haven't had any other sicknesses or problems in the past year.

I could spend money on going to a doctor, but I am willing to bet anything that they will simply prescribe me antibiotics that I won't be willing to take.

Does anyone know any natural remedies for this type of problem? I am trying to drink more, sleep more, and rest, but is there any type of food or herbs that you would recommend that is supposed to help with this sort of problem?
