Thank you so much for your reply. At first they said my husband should schedule surgery for 2 weeks away. Then they said the next day! Then we saw another doctor who said it doesn't make sense to have it taken out before figuring out what the cause is. Thank goodness! So the doctor ruled out a long list of possibilities and now says it is an extremely rare blood disorder, but they have to continue narrowing it down to exactly what it is. He is to have a bone marrow biopsy in about a week and then we'll see what they recommend.
My husband is vegan, organic and has gone back and forth with raw several times. Not raw now, but getting ready to do that.
We have read about how losing your spleen compromises your immune system very much. He really doesn't want the surgery, but the spleen is huge. We want to learn if there is a natural way to shrink it.
There are a lot of people out there who could give us their opinion, but yours is the one we respect the most. We don't know if this is something you deal with, but if so, we would be happy to pay for a consultation with you.
