Hello Dr. Graham,
I found this article

_ttp://articles[DOT]mercola[DOT]com/sites/articles/archive/201
2/05/06/excessive-fructose-causes-obesity-and-cancer[DOT]aspx

and many others, where you can read that fruit (because of
fructose content) cause high levels of uric acid and should be
limited or totally avoided if you have gout or high uric acid
levels: "if you're passionate about fruit and typically eat
large amounts of it, but find out you have a uric acid level
above 5 (or better yet, 4 if you're a man, and 3.5 if you're a
woman), then you may want to consider lowering your fruit
consumption until you've optimized your uric acid levels, to
avoid harming your body"

I certainly know that fruits can't be bad for us, but is a
fact that fructose cause high level of uric acids.

What is your opinion?

Thank you very much

Best regards

Augusto
