Many people are indeed allergic to mango, so your reaction to that fruit sounds quite normal. Pineapple can be very irritating to the tongue, so again, your reaction sounds normal. Learning to eat pineapple within the limit of your tongue's ability to tolerate this fruit takes a bit of practice. If you react badly to mango, you likely always will, but there are ways to minimize the symptoms, such as being sure not to get the juice on your face, not touching the fruit to your lips, and taking care when handling the fruit. If you eat papaya on its own, do you react to that fruit? Papaya does not commonly draw negative physical reactions, other than that some folks don't enjoy the taste or texture.
