HI, Doug I have read a few of your responses to inquiries about your decision to keep your amalgams in your mouth, but it still doesnt make sense to me. Perhaps there is a link between them and your glandular problem? The fact that mercury is so bad and that there are good material options seems like it should be reason enough to do the swap even if none of the better options are proven 100% safe- they are miles ahead of mercury. Someone in your position would have access to better care than the rest of us and there are some individuals that are very skilled in replacing the fillings. Obviously you're fit and healthy aside from that issue but you CANT out run a steady dose of mercury no matter how healthy your lifestyle is. We would all like to see you hang around the extra time that I feel getting that stuff out of your mouth would bring, and I'm sure your family more so. I am not a dentist just a concerned individual, I wish I had the funds to take care of my dental problems. All the best. Chris
