I got some sort of upper respiratory congestion in the middle of April. I stayed home 1 day and rested at that time. I seemed to recover but there was a lingering cough and other symptoms which are still lingering on to this day. Sometimes I feel ok and sometimes I will go on a period of time where I just can't stop coughing.

I understand that diagnosis is not possible but what can be causing something like this (most probably)?

Asthma? Allergies? Something else?

My family has a history of asthma and allergies. I think I might be demonstrating symptoms like that also.

At the moment I can't stay home and fast. I actually have had similar symptoms many years ago. When that happened I had a cough for over 3 months and it finally resolved in June when the weather got warm.

It's a bit frustrating to be living a "healthy" lifestyle and having such poor health. It also looks bad as everyone around me knows what kind of diet I eat and they hear me coughing all the time.

Unless someone has better advice, I am just going to stick with the program and try not to over exert myself and wait and see if the symptoms resolve.
