Thanks so much for your patience Dr D as well as everyone else that may be following along in this thread! Again I am not trying to convince anyone of anything, this is the place I come to get what I believe are well informed opinions on health :) This is an awesome group and I am very thankful to have this forum to get everyones insights including Dr. D himself!

Dr D...I am not as concerned with what minerals the water provides as much as I am concerned with whether of not a certain type of water strips minerals out. I do get minerals from my food, but if the type of water I drink tends to strip them even partially I think it would make sense to question if there is a better possible option of water. When we stop worrying about what the best options are, I doing think we are interested in doing our best. I have no vested ineterest in anything, I only hope to gain inight so that my decisions are well informed.

I can tell you that I started the raw food diet what I consider pretty healthy, eventually came across the 811, and did that, and I didn't have severe digestive problems until somewhere around my trasition to 811 from basic raw diet. The one constant in all of my issues has been demineralized reverse osmosis water. I have changed everything imaginable dietairy wise, only seeing improvement when I stop eating raw. So to me it seems obvious to change the type of water I consume and monitor any change, progressive or regressive.

Again :) I come in peace! I am only trying to educate myself. I don't see benefit in pretending something is what it may not be, if demineralized water isn't my best option than I am not at all married to and will change it asap! I don't make any money by selling water, it is for my own health that I seek out info, unfortuantely I am not in a place health wise that I can accept prefered opinions over factual evidence. I am intersted in what IS good rather than what anyone wants to be or believes is good.
