Thanks for the responses. I'm going to try 80/10/10 again, and be extremely strict about it. I already started eating more carbs and restricting fat, going to start full raw on monday.
I read some more about candida and found out there are trace ammounts of candida all over the body, like on the skin etc even if you are healthy. I still don't understand the origin of the "candida as blood sugar backup system" idea though.
Steve, what herbal remedey are you talking about for neurological damage? I suffer from crippling anxiety and mild depression, I think it might be related to the candida overgrowth. I took St. John's Wort's for a while. It worked amazing, much better than RX antidepressants, almost felt like some kind of ambrosia. However it made me so photosensitive I couldn't be outside or use a computer monitor.
What probiotics do you recommend? And is turmeric extra effective against candida? I have already taken diflucan, nystatin, garlic, oregano oil, pau d'arco, capryllic acid etc. They all seem to work for a while, but after 4 or 5 days they just stop working, as if the candida becomes resistant to it.
The video was very interesting as well. And yes, the high meat diet wasn't good for my overall health even though it seemed to somewhat control the direct candida symptoms. If 80/10/10 diet doesn't now work I'll probably try the body ecology diet or something.
