My personal opinion: It makes absolultely no sense to me that scores of people would be benefit from fasting (taking in water only and resting in every sense of the word) with the use of distilled water (which, I am assuming you categorize as demineralized?) if it was "bad" for those who are dehydrated or experience digestive woes. Wouldn't you think their dehydration or digestive issues would get worse and not dramatically better over the course of 3-4 weeks of consuming distilled water and nothing else at all? Perhaps I am off base, but thought I'd throw it out there as something to consider. Not that you asked for any feedback on your condition, but just thought I'd ask a few questions for you to think about (you can, but certainly don't have to answer here). What is your average daily consumption -- foods, quantities, time/frequency of meals? (I see you said you are not drinking anything besides water, but you don't say what you are eating) How often are you urinating and how much in a 24 hour period? How much are you sleeping in a 24 hour period? How much physical activity do you get in a 24 hour period? To how much sunlight do you expose your unprotected skin? Any stressful situations in your life? Do you have supportive, nurturing relationships? Do you get clean, fresh air on a regular basis? Etc. Well wishes to you, Mark.
