Of course I have The 80/10/10 Diet and now I remember
that part about minerals and acid/alkaline balance...

Anyway, I still don't understand one thing: according
to the PRAL (Potential renal acid load of foods and
its influence on urine pH - Journal Of The American
Dietetic Association) chart, bananas are acid forming
(PRAL +5.5) while Full-Fat soft cheese has only +4.5
and beans have -3.1 (alkalizing).

How is that possible?

Maybe the PRAL doesen't consider sistemic
alkalizing/acidifing of the body but only urine pH.

Even considering this, I still can't understand the
whole thing...
