wow!
my #1 limitation in regards to that question is, not surprisingly, money. i have what i consider a nice sized budget (low six figures). nowhere near enough to buy (or rent) a place as large a cedar springs (for ex.) without being house-poor or overly concerned with perpetual income.
i'd like to be able to house 10 people. myself and 1-2 others would maybe live there long-term. maybe one room would have several bunk beds for younger folks. room on the grounds for tents. room for many more people to come for a day.
i have been comparing my vision to what i find exists currently in northern california. i have met many hosts from helpx.com who host different work-stay opportunities. i am never satisfied in terms of altering my values to align with theirs. but i love the practice of intensive learning and togetherness, partially credited to health&fitness week, etc., and i think as many people as possible should have access to that experience.
i like what i see in terms of developing intentional communities, but that's not my specific goal.
here are some examples i would draw aspects of inspiration from ::
www.oaec.org
www.livepower.org
www.emeraldearth.org
i would research to hire a licensed medical practitioner to supervise short fasting sessions. i met the folks over at true north, their interns are exceptional.
i would have people you come and lecture!
i could go on... :)
