Personally, I do not intentionally eat the seeds. However, even when I think I've plucked them all out I inevitably ingest quite a few as evidenced in the toilet bowl the next day! Also, I suppose that says something about my chewing (or, lack thereof), since they come out whole. (sorry if all of this is TMI)
