Since you don't provide any details, this is just going to be a wild stab . . . I do hope it helps, but if not, feel free to provide us with more info, okay?
In Raw Nutritional Science, Part 1, Prof. Rozalind Graham says, "[T]he degree to which you are able to maintain . . . a low fat raw vegan diet . . . is absolutely parallel to the degree with which you are able to process your emotions -- both those you've been suppressing from the past and those that currently arise for you."
Elsewhere in this DVD series, as well as in Making Friends With Your Food, and other products, she and Dr. Graham talk about how eating 811rv frees up our nervous system to feel our feelings/emotions, which were formerly suppressed with the high digestive load of cooked, fatty, and/or processed food, and/or complex combinations (we can only do one at a time: digest or emote).
So, I am guessing that perhaps you've had this anxiety all along, but now that you are eating more simply you are able to feel it. Now comes the real work of learning to fully and non-judgmentally experience your emotions.
For me, Making Friends With Your Food was extremely helpful, as is meditation. You may want to check out Rozi's youtube videos as well. Here's one to get you started:
