Subject:	Essential Tremors, can they be cured?

My question is regarding a co worker that is also my cousin's boyfriend whom is 24 years of age and was born with essential tremors. For those of you that don't know what that is, it basically means he always shakes, holds his hands out and they shake, its like he is really nervous or strung out but really he is not... he just simply shakes constantly.
Anyone have any clue what to do to cure or manage this better?
I would think possibly fasting would help, so is there anyone who had this or knows someone who had this and was cured by fasting or even eating healthy?
I was curious because he says it is incurable and it seems to affect him daily even though he is used to it.
