No, there is no way for me to possibly know what you have read, except by you telling me. Thanks for the insight into your readings. Carob powder can be produced raw, and is also produced in a roasted version. The roasting is done for hygienic as well as taste reasons, and also for extension of shelf life. Raw carob powder is available from a wide variety of suppliers. I support Living Tree Community Foods if you are purchasing in the States.
