I went to the dentist today for major dental work, I had a lot of cavities. I've always been prone to getting cavities. I wonder if this is because of the chemistry in my mouth.

My dentist gave me a few shots to numb the areas. I haven't had medication in quite sometime. I already have a pretty comprised digestive system, my stomach hurts a lot of the time, especially after I eat, and I wonder if this can affect my digestive system more in a negative way and what I can do about this. I am currently eating an 811 diet.

Have people had dental work without any medication? How did it go? Any tips and suggestions.

Also, if anyone could recommend sources for natural hygiene for teeth, it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks so much!
