as far as my current diet goes, it is a reflection of my confusion. i eat mostly plant based, i try to be low glycemic with the exception of fresh fruit. also, i include some animal products, mostly eggs (from the best sources i can find-ethically speaking... ) sometimes fish rarely beef. my reason for adding animal is because i am afraid that there might be important nutrients which i might lack on a vegan diet. i eat allot of plant food since because most "experts" that they are good for u. ideally, i would like to live of fruit or light. but, i am not confident in it being ideal for health. it seems that the records we have of on humans, that our species has practiced a omnivorous diet for a very long long time. for whatever reason there are no current nor historical indigenous people who were exclusively raw vegan (to my knowledge..). i am not saying that that is proof that a raw vegan 811 diet is not ideal. but makes me wonder why we would not follow it if it were ideal. also, i have noticed that allot of whole food omnivores look healthy. and allot of raw vegans don't. (and vice versa) like i say, i do not know what is ideal. just trying to do my best. -ivory
