I just read in Dr. Graham's book, Nutrition and Athletic Performance, that:

"Although lacking the fiber the fiber necessary for optimal health, freshly squeezed fruit juices . . . make excellent choices for speedy recovery after exercise. Even better are whole fresh fruits blended with water, or freshly squeezed citrus juice with the pulp included."

The book also gives great guidance on what to consume during exercise lasting a minimum of one hour, and commonly longer than 2 hours. I highly recommend it!
