I sort of agree with both of you, in that I too have
read that the "organic" label does not mean so much,
esp with imported produce if from countries with easy-
going regulations. Like other health and safety
issues, it's impossible to check on all the people,
all the time.

But I agree too that it must of course be optimal to
grow one's own.
