Trying to eat enough to stay fueled and not loose weight. I can figure out my calories burned during exercise, but work is another story. I work in a fast paced produce department at a busy store for 9 hours 4 days a week. I am on my feet for 8.5 hours stocking vegetable and fruit displays. One to two hours is spent receiving a large delivery of 4-6 pallets of produce boxes weighing 25-45 pounds. The receiving is done rapidly and all manually: downstacking by hand and then handtrucking it to cold storage, where I restack it. I focus on proper lifting but keep a steady, brisk pace; it feels like I am getting a good upper body workout. i have been at this job for 6 years, and I get choice produce at 20% off retail. If anyone has any ideas what I might be burning per day, please let me know. I weigh between 145-150 at 5' 10'. Peace! -marcury
