Subject:	Dr G, I have a saliva pH question

Hey Dr. Graham,

I was re-reading the 811 book, and I became curious when reading the section
in ch 1 where you say that plant eating creatures including healthy humans
maintain alkaline saliva pH most of the time. My saliva during the day is almost
always neutral (7), and at night and upon rising it's always acidic (6). Does this
suggest that something is not right? I'm curious because i've read that teeth re-
mineralize in an alkaline environment, so it seems that my pH levels might not
be good for my teeth.

(btw, my urine upon rising is alkaline).
