Subject:         Low b12 - is it ok to exercise?
Date: April 4, 2012 at 11:24 am PST

Hi Doug,

I'm in the UK and was diagnosed with low b12 about a year
ago (145). I started taking patches, but it has only
improved slightly (147). I'm due to have it checked again,
but still feel like I'm displaying symptoms;

-difficulty concentrating,
-lacking mental and physical stamina-mainly because my mind
feels disorientated.
-ongoing anxiety I've had for several years now.
-feel tired but wired
-agoraphobia (even at times round my own family)

My Doctor thinks there mybe an absorption problem, as my
digestion isn't optimal (I tend to hold onto food and only
empty my bowels properly when I am in an anxiety provoking
situation). I completed 12 sessions of CBT over the year
and worked very hard on this, but my anxiety has only gone
down slightly.

I've listened to your perfect health program and realise how
important rest/sleep are for the body to recover, which I've
been working on the last few months, but find it hard to get
a good night's rest when I've been resting for most of the
day and end up feeling tired but wired, due to the symptoms.

I wasn't thinking of anything too strenuous, mybe just a
morning or evening walk to clear my head and get some vit D?
I'm following the principles of 811 as best I can consistently, but feel I need a little physical activity to
relieve the detox and be able to get a better night's sleep.

My question is, is it advisable for someone to exercise if
they are low in b12 and experiencing symptoms?

Sorry if the information is too vague & thanking you in
advance,

Faye (age mid 30's)
