Hi,
Thanks for reply.
Usually the purpose of my smoothie is as entire meal in the morning. As I need to wake up early and go to my
busy job I need something fast for breakfast and that could keep me up until dinner as I eat two times a day.
I usually train my parkour on the way home before dinner.
My typical smoothie is composed of 200-300g dried raw dates, 300g of lettuce and water. However when I eat it
digests so quickly that I feel hungry again after 2 hours and tired. It is probably too high in glycemic index.
I am not diabetic as my HbA1C after a year on high fruit is 5.1. However after date smoothie that contains 1200
calories I sometimes get sugars over 144.
I use powerful immersion blender.
Dates are the only ripe fruit that is available in my country, bananas wont ripen properly.
I have read 811 book many times and know principles of fat related to sugar metabolism system.
However 10g of flaxseed compose only 7% of fat calories for entire meal (kiwi fruit contains 7% too). Otherwise
I will experiment and see how will feel with some flax added:). If I get bloated probably I will add some non
sweet fruit to make meal denser without flax.
