Vegetarian Shoes is a really cool company and brand. I have bought a number of pairs of shoes and boots from them, none were athletic however but I'm sure they are good quality too. Now I have New Balance vegan running shoes but as you say there might be animal products in the glue and threads. The products from vegetarian shoes are 100% vegan.
