hi steph. recently i had a bad infection with the gland at the side of the tongue swollen and sore. i thought i might've bitten it in my sleep or something. i personally think mine came from cherry tomatoes that weren't organic but its hard to say.

what i did when the pain got bad was gargle with warm sea salt water. it eased the pain a lot and the easing of it lasted for about 5 hours pain free. mine came and went for about a 2 solid wks. then gradually got better. sometimes it was so bad i wanted to go to sleep.
