A: I've been to Costa Rica almost 100 times. I've never seen or heard of spraying there. Spraying could be used on the Caribbean coastal areas, I wouldn't know, I've not gone there. B: Good living conditions include hygiene to control mosquitoes. Coconuts and other items that might hold water must be properly disposed of. Areas that encourage mosquito growth can be filled, if you wish to live near them, or you can move to an area where mosquitoes aren't such an issue, such as someplace hilly. C: I am not in favor of chemical spraying, no.
