Both my husband and I prepare food for our family. I think the trickle down approach can have a big impact. From my perspective, it's really important for my kids to retain their decision-making ability. Also, recognizing that nutrition is about life, love, and happiness (with food only being one ingredient, I provide what I want to provide for them, and I also fulfill their requests. I've noticed that my daughter is eating more fruit because she sees me doing it, and my son is eating a bit more, too.
