Thanks Dr. D. In the case that you aren't discounting the concepts of Chinese Medicine I felt I should expand on their direct idea of what I did to myself.

First off, in TCM every food has its own heat constitution which essentially makes the body react differently, for example, I found out that what I was eating (lots of bananas) is a very cold food and not recommeneded for a cold climate.Basically I am told I was freezing myself from the inside out. They also beleive that cooked food is easier on digestion and promote the energy of the spleen.

In TCM they also say eat the food that grows in your climate, and you may have touched on this before, but if not where I am from I am told to stick to apples, berries, and melons, none of which grow through the winter months. SO possible due to the climate I live it is possible that I may never truly be able to thrive on the raw foods?

It is also possible and even likely that I entered the raw food journey with underlying health issues and that once I get balanced which the raw foods that I was eating was not doing for me, possibly returning to it after I am better might work next time? Thanks in advance Dr. D!
