I have no idea what reference you make, but all I know about the subject is that I said that if people don't eat enough calories from carbs from fruit, then they will eat carbs from starch, or be driven to eating overts such as nuts and seeds. This scenario plays out often, and repeatedly, after dinner for many folks, if they fail to eat sufficient fruit at the start of the meal. I know of having made no comments about people having to eat overts in order to succeed in any specific way, or in order to avoid any specific outcome. Sorry, you'd have to actually provide the reference.
