I can say that I don't recommend reliance upon acid fruits. Eating them near daily, along with other fruits such as the sub-acid fruits, is already a better plan. There are seasons of the year when citrus just isn't that great and other foods are stupendous; at those times of year, why force the issue and rely upon citrus?
So, I don't recommend a diet that revolves primarily around acid fruit, any more than I recommend one that relies primarily upon bananas or any other single fruit. Variety throughout the year is a key in creating a successful version of 811.
