I bought a case of organic dates,
over 10 pounds.

There is 1 hair on 2 of the dates.
The dates are packaged in 1 box, no
separate containers. There is no
chance it is my hair. The hair is
longer and darker than my hair.

I have a strong aversion to hair in
food.

I don't like to return food, esp
organic food.

I read human hair often contains
yeasts and molds.

Could there be ANY potential health
hazard if I eat the dates?

The worst possibility I can think of
is yeasts/molds... on human hair
could have spread to all the dates
in the box.

What would you do?

Would you simply wash and eat the
dates with no concern?

Is there ANY reason for a health
concern if I find hair in food?
