As to the overall health of menstruation, again, the bleeding can cease for a variety of reasons, some good, some not so good. Each case must be visited individually.
Generically, when menstruation ceases due to the effects of low body fat, overbearing emotional stress, or other harmful influences, the lack of flow cannot be considered as beneficial.
