My example using lemon juice in no way recommends or condemns the use of lemon as a food. I enjoy pineapple, sure. Many people cannot mono eat it for a meal, as the fruit is too irritating to the tongue for some. It is sometimes difficult to tell at what stage of ripeness the pineapple was picked. I have had fully ripe, field ripened pineapple that I myself picked and immediately ate burn my mouth. I enjoy citrus fruits, personally.
