Hello community! B-12 is one of those subjects that, by researching on the net, for exemple, you will find pretty much everything you want to believe. Some people even accept the possibility that the vitamin doesn't even exist. Putting aside the lies and misinformation, I am not still quite sure about what to do when it comes to healthy B-12 absorption, intake, etc. First of all, I'm not a 811rv, but will start as soon as I have the money to delve into this diet (will have to be a non-organic one, at first). I read the 811 book, and I'm aware of everything that's written on it, although I don't remember all the things regarding B-12. I gave the book to my gf, so it's not available for me at the moment. I'll topic some questions, and I thank you in advance for answers. -If even the act of dehydrating fruit makes B-12 in it an analog of this vitamin, which cannot be used by the body, how come the cooking process of the meat, egg, milk, pretty much any animal source, not hinder or completely destroy the bacteria? This simply doesn't add up, does it? -I'm aware that, not only for this specific vitamin, but for most deficiencies are due to malabsorption, rather than low intake. With that in mind, we can easily say that, for that matter, an SAD person will absorb much less than an 811rv individual, am I correct in that assumption? And even with a good diet, it seems that emotional poise comes into play as well. All in all, even the healthiest of the raw fooders can end up having the deficiency. In that case, I imagine that supplementing would be a wise decision, after all, even Doug did it, right? -SAD diet have a long long list of all other maladies that can, and probably will, cause to people that "eat it". Can we say, with a reasonable amonut of certainty, that an SAD dieter is as much, or even more, prone to have this deficiency as an 811rv fellow? Thanks again and have a great one.
