Hi Eduardo, I just had a thought (and who knows if it's a good one!). I've heard both Dr. Graham and his wife speak to the issue of "emotional eating." Might it be that some people have emotional memories of eating "heavier" foods in wintertime and they crave those feelings at that time of the year as something that was conditioned in them way back when? Overt fats are what I'd consider a "heavier" food, and pretty much the closest thing to cooked on a raw food diet, in my opinion. In The 80-10-10 Diet, Dr. Graham says, "Eventually, it is best to free yourself from the desire to experience a heavy feeling after a meal, as this is an indicator that the digestive system is being overworked." Anyway, just a thought. Perhaps letting go of looking for that heavy feeling, look to embrace the feeling of lightness one gets from eating fruits and leafy greens?
