Subject:	FRUIT SEASONS - help!

I live in the UK.

I dont understand about fruit being in season. My sister always says oh no dont buy that mango its not in season... mangoes dont grow in the UK. So where ever the mango came from sure it was in season where it was growing?

Surely there is always somewhere on earth where whatever fruit you are are after is in season? Since we get all our tropical / hot climate fruits imported surely they are always in season since they just change the place they come from>???

Can someone please explain this one to me!!!!
