Hey, if you like Durian, you will LOVE SE Asia. Its organic durian 12
months of the year if you hit the right spots at the right times. 20c
per lb is average price for organic in peak season.

Stay away from the Thai imported stuff unless you want a good
dose of chemicals. Ive visited some of the main export farms and
its monsanto and dupont chemical warfare for sure. They dont even
smell and taste like real frozen durian should. Most are irradiated if
the Thai export rules for tropical fruit are followed. Same with
coconuts. Mistreated toxic low flavour things compared to the real
deal.

One trip to Asia and your durian and coconut senses are tripped
onto quality and you just cant settle for the imported thai junk.

Im in Thailand now. Durian season aint on but it starts in another
month and goes strong till September. Chanthaburi being the
durian capital of the world and Penang Malaysia in July being the
gourmet durian capital of the world.

the list goes on an on..

Considering the cost of living in Asia is 4000$US a year in Thailand
to 650$US a year in Cambodia..I dont know why more people dont
live here like we do.
