The case is simple: today's high sugar, low seeds, low fiber fruits have been breed by humans for their desired characteristics and did not exist in the past. Nor are such fruits readily availabe in the wild as frutarians whish to think. Apparently humans have spread all over the planet because they did not rely on a diet of raw fruit or raw anything. Cooking and tools on the other hand allowed for the utilisation of any source of energy available. If the claim that humans evolved on a diet of raw fruit were true, then why does human body and gut anatomy diverge significantly from that of its closes animal relatives (who subsist on i.e. raw fruits and leaves)?
