How many other women on here find that they eat a lot more during their
menstrual cycle (or even the days leading up to it) ?
I am 19 yrs old and find that the week before or some days before I get my
period I am just SO HUNGRY. My apetite becomes insatiable and my attitude is
very dramatic. I become extremely irritable, easily agitated, fatigued. Sometimes
all I feel like doing is laying in bed all day. I don't get cramps.
Fortunately, I haven't binged on bad food. I did, however, have 2 large avocados
in the past couple of days. I felt horrible each time afterwards.
Is this normal? Do any other ladies experience this hunger and attitude shift?
Will it pass? Is there any way to alleviate it?
Are there any recommendations on how many more calories I should be eating
during my cycle? I know freelee recommends eating about 500 more or
something like that.
I don't want to eat extra (as an excuse for having my period) and then gain
weight since I am trying to lose some already.
(I would love to give more specific details in order to get proper advice. Please
respond with what other information about myself I can provide)
