I think you answered your own questions here from your own experience. You consumed oil, salt, and avocado and then you drank juice and you wonder why you felt "off" . . . hmmmm . . . How about cutting all of those things out completely and simplify things for a few days by going on "banana island"? When I say, "banana island," I mean eat as many bananas as you care for at each meal -- when hungry, until full (you'll likely want to eat at least 20 bananas a day in order to meet your bare caloric needs). Drink enough water to ensure 10 or so healthy pees per 24 hour period, and get enough sleep ("enough" is when you wake up in the morning and feel rested and ready to go. If you feel like hitting the "snooze" button, you didn't get "enough."). Do not consume anything else for a few days and get back to us, okay? If you simply "must" have something else, the addition of celery or romaine lettuce would be fine, AFTER your banana meals. And, I wouldn't worry about the potassium thing. From what I've understood Dr. Graham to say, the potassium in whole foods, like bananas, is not something the general population needs to concern themselves with. Let us know how it goes, okay?
