The answer is to have confidence and much knowledge of the diet and lifestyle. No one intimidates me. When I tell them the benefits that they will receive (self beneficial) when eating the 80/10/10 raw vegan diet, they don't want to listen and thus leave me alone. For example, if someone said to me that I eat too slowly, I simply give them an explanation of what is going on. My preparation time is very short and simple, but it takes longer to eat because the food is less calorie dense. Much of what I'm consuming is water and fiber. The water hydrates me. The fiber is needed for movement in the intestines. This is very beneficial to the body. Also, the fruits best fulfill my nutritional needs, and greens come in second. I enjoy the taste of both because the sugar from the fruits balances the minerals from the greens. Having a low-fat diet is very beneficial because it allows oxygen and glucose to be brought into the cells rapidly. I keep explaining more about the diet and answering questions, and eventually they have nothing to say. Usually, they continue with their bad eating habits, but they have some new knowledge about which they can ponder. Make sure that you can explain the diet by rereading The 80/10/10 Diet book and remembering the main points in the book. Also, the audios of Doug Graham that I bought to which I listen in the car help. Make sure that you know the difference between the health model (Natural Hygiene, Claude Bernard, Antoine Béchamp, Louis Pasteur at the very end of his life) and the medical model. Natural Hygiene says that changing the body's environment will cause a healthy body. The medical model intervenes with medicine, supplements, surgery, radiation, etc. instead of changing the body's environment, which can be used as a backup in case the body is unable to repair itself. Bernard described le milieu intérieur, the environment within, which he and others also called terrain. Read "Louis Pasteur Recants His Germ Theory", the link below. Understand that the body will be sick when it is overloaded with toxins. If you know people who got a stroke, you can say, am I the only person who understands why one got a stroke? It's elementary. The diet and lifestyle that the person followed were not what we are designed to have. When you explain this to others, they will not bother you lest they get more explanation.

Also, for yourself, understand that you compare yourself with yourself, not with others. How am I doing compared to last time? Am I moving toward the target, or did I step backwards? For example, I'm doing pushups, and I'm in the high twenties to low thirties in a set. I'm happy to be be able to maintain that amount and slowly build up when and only when my body is ready for more. I'm comparing myself with myself.
