I would think that if you were eating a sufficient quantity of greens, roughly 3% of your total calories or thereabouts, that none of the digestive issues you mention would occur. Celery, lettuce, and even cucumber would be valuable in this regard. Vegetables are indeed part of this program. Celery tomato soup, bananas and lettuce, and many other combinations make vegetables a dream come true.

Eat your veggies and get back to us, please.

I enjoy lettuce on its own, and celery as is. Develop the healthy habit of eating your veggies.
