Subject:         Exercises for endurance athletes/runners

Hey,

Can anyone here tell me any other exercises to do for endurance athletes? I
understand cross training is good too like swimming and cycling. Will just
running and cross training make me get leaner? or would I have to do some
other strength/stability/resistance exercises?

I don't know if strength training would be good because I am trying not to gain
much muscle in weight and stay light as possible. Are there any past
discussions about this that someone can link me to? Any other resources?
