The days that I try to eat for the amount of calories my body needs, I feel famished. I often eat way too much fruit (for my caloric needs) the other days and end up gaining weight. I started going low fat COOKED vegan, and I feel like it's much easier to not feel so hungry, and I stay within my caloric needs. Why is that? If this is our optimal diet, why do I have to feel hungry in order not to gain weight? :( It's frustrating!
