Hey Just Me! This recipe looks great I will definitely try it soon as I have always loved the taste of raw cauliflower. That's quite something about your husband changing from a can raised fruit/veg hater and now eating fresh from the garden, that's inspiring. I feel for people who weren't raised on better food, it is actually heart breaking for me whenever I hear that and then I am grateful to remember the times growing up that surrounded fresh foods. We would visit Ohio every few summers and my aunts grew awesome tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, etc and we looked forward to those tomatoes every year. All our relatives up there had gardens, it was so normal. We had lime, grapefruit, tangerine and orange trees in our yard growing up. Neighborhood kids knew how to get the juice out without a knife, we ran around on our bikes and kept fueled on neighborhood fruit! No wonder I luv this 811rv thing! One more thing, I am always amazed when I go thru the checkout and the cashier doesn't know what basic fruit/veg are, it's astounding! Jamie Oliver worked with kids in west Virginia to try to get them to like real food, and they didn't even know what tomatoes were, these were like 4 th graders. What happened to us here in the usa?! I'm hoping things change, here's to you opening up the new horizons for your husband and growing your own garden! I'm sure inside he appreciates you for it!!!!
