Vickie, PLEASE go to the doc! At least you will get some info on your problem, hopefully, after investigation. Likely what you discover will put your mind at rest; you may find it is due to overeating/eating too fast/incompatible foods in the evenings, as you describe. Worst case scenario, if you have a condition at least you can read up on it and be informed. I would want to know. Maybe you are stuffing evenings to sedate your worry and anxiety, and causing the very health issues that torment you thoughts. Perhaps it is best you focus on chewing more slowly to digest better, rather than setting goals you cannot cope with emotionally, right now. And don't forget - drink as much as you desire, before you begin eating! I suggest to start drinking water at least 20 mins before your meal, to thoroughly deal with thirst before hitting you stomach with foodstuff. You don't mention (or I missed it) whether you are totally clear also of caffeinated drinks; naturally these will impair digestion, absorption, interrupt sleep and increase the anxiety response which is already overactive.
