You could look for a kitchen cart...I'm pretty sure
you can get them at Ikea. They are great because you
can roll it out of the way when you want and it gives
some extra counter space and even a shelf.
Also, I would start using your stove/microwave for
storage (not so much produce due to the lack of
airflow which might foster mould) But if you keep
anything in the stove drawer, remember to remove it if
you turn the stove on...it can get pretty hot down
there too.
If you have a double sink, you could get an in-sing
drying rack and instead of spending time drying "let
God help with the drying" and spend that time
organizing the rest of the house to keep it pleasing.
(ps. I think installing a single sink in a kitchen
should be a crime!)
