That said, here are my thoughts about using the boar brush (poor boar!). Not sure I'm "right" on any of this, but my thoughts just the same. It's my understanding that brushing distributes the oils from the scalp to the rest of the hair. Perhaps this is your goal, but if not, perhaps brushing isn't getting you where you want to go? If you do choose to brush, I suggest making sure you wash your brush often. Otherwise, I'd think you're just brushing all the old oils "junk and fuzz" back into your hair each time you use it.
