Hello Dr. D, how are you doing? You're the only health/fitness professional I trust hehe so I came here to ask some questions about combat sports and brain damage. It's known that combat sports, in long-term, cause brain damage, mainly when it comes to those that you get hit in the head a lot, obviously (boxing, for example). I, for one, am a big fan of taek-won-do, but I'm afraid to suffer some kind of damage in long-term. I'm not that big fan of fighting, but taek-won-do is an art in my opinion. So, my questions: -Is brain damage really permanent? I mean, with 811rv can one get cured from a "permanent" brain damage? -What is your take on combat sports? Thanks in advance =)
